dc.description.abstract	This investigation will be done through the analysis of studies made about the use of English as a Lingua Franca (ELF) around the world, as well as statistics about the use of languages in certain areas. Also it would be discussed the different definitions about the main terms used in this extended essay to better understand the topic: Lingua Franca and Globalization. By using this analysis, we could understand the impact globalization has had on the extended use of English as a Lingua Franca, specifically how globalization has had an influence on it through economics and trade, technology and in the academic domain.	es_PE
